Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility:

    • The competition is open to middle and high school students currently enrolled in schools within the Orange County zip codes only.

    • Only students from these schools are eligible to participate.

    • Participants must be between 11 and 18 years of age at the time of entry.

    • Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of the organizers are not eligible to enter.

  2. Competition Period:

    • The competition will run from Friday September 13 2024 to Monday September 23 2024. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on September 23 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

  3. Prizes:

    • Each winning student will receive:

      • One (1) General Admission ticket for themselves.

      • One (1) General Admission ticket for a parent or guardian.

      • Two (2) General Admission tickets will be issued for their class teacher.

    • The tickets are valid only for the specified event date and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

    • No cash alternative will be offered.

  1. Entry Requirements:

    • To enter, participants must submit their entry by submitting 25 words or less to describe why their class should win the competition by September 23 2024.

    • Only one entry per student is permitted.

    • Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

  2. Winner Selection:

    • Winners will be chosen from all eligible entries received during the competition period.

    • The decision of the judges/organizers is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

  3. Notification of Winners:

    • Winners will be notified via email by Monday September 30 2024.

    • If a winner does not respond within 24 hours, the prize may be forfeited.

  4. Ticket Distribution:

    • Tickets will be distributed to winners school on or before Wednesday October 2 2024.

    • Winners may need to present valid identification when entering the event precinct.

  1. Use of Entries:

    • By entering the competition, participants agree that their entry may be used by the organizers for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media, website, and event marketing.

  2. Data Protection:

    • Any personal data provided during the competition will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and will only be used for the purposes of administering the competition and delivering the prizes.

  3. Liability:

    • The organizers accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize.

    • The organizers are not responsible for any technical issues, system failures, or lost entries.

  4. Modification and Cancellation:

    • The organizers reserve the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the competition at any time if necessary due to circumstances beyond their control.

  5. General:

    • By entering this competition, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

    • The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of California.
