Kevin Quinn
Kevin Quinn is a flying enthusiast—seriously. It's about all he thinks about! Between flying airplanes, running his heli-ski operation in Alaska (Points North), and, of course, spending as much time in the ocean as possible, this is Kevin Quinn. Now 49 years old, he has been flying since he was a young kid with his father while growing up in Alaska. That's about 48 years in all (if the time spent in the back seat of his father's airplanes counts).
Kevin holds an FAA Commercial Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate with an Instrument rating. He currently has just over 9,000 hours of total flight time, most of it in the off-airport environment. He is one of the founding members of the Flying Cowboys. Additionally, he is an EMT trainer, Avalanche Educator, and a US Heli-Ski Association Certified Heli-Ski Guide Trainer. In 2009, Kevin created the High Sierra Fly-in. STOL Drag was his creation a few years later at the HSF. STOL Drag Events LLC. is his entity.

Steve Henry
2022 & 2016 STOL DRAG WORLD CHAMPION!
Steve Henry has been flying and competing in his Wild West Aircraft/Just Aircraft Highlander for many years. He started flying Highlanders in 2005 and he made history when he filmed the Dead Stick Takeoff in his first Highlander. Competing in his everyday airplane, his Highlander has graced the cover of many aviation publications, countless articles, and several viral videos making his yellow airplane #44 dubbed “Yee-Haw” one of the most recognizable backcountry aircraft in the world. Steve is full of enthusiasm, dedication, and supports up-and-coming pilots. Easily approachable, Steve would love to answer any questions you may have about his plane so don’t hesitate to stop by and say hi at a performer signing session!

Mike Daniel, a visionary pilot and creative thinker based in Truckee, California, brings a fresh perspective to aviation with his love for backcountry flying. Embodying a unique approach to flight, Mike is driven by a passion for pushing boundaries and redefining conventional norms in the aviation industry. Leveraging his background in design and technology, he showcases the multifaceted facets of aviation beyond the mere act of flying.
