The Canadian Forces Snowbirds aren’t just a performance team — they’re a national Canadian icon. Representing the 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, these skilled aviators and technicians from the Canadian Armed Forces bring nine jets, one mission, and a whole lot of adrenaline to the skies.
Flying the classic CT-114 Tutor, a jet trainer known for its maneuverability and grace, the Snowbirds deliver a performance packed precision formations, loops, rolls, and dynamic solo passes. Their speed? Anywhere from 100 to 320 knots. Their spacing? Sometimes just four feet apart in flight.
Behind the scenes, a team of world-class pilots, engineers, logistics experts and support crew ensure the show runs with military grade precision. From coast to coast across North America, the Snowbirds proudly serve as ambassadors for Canada’s Armed Forces, honoring those in uniform through discipline, teamwork and awe-inspiring flight.
In 2025, the Snowbirds return to Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach, ready to rock our world with signature smoke trails, a pumping soundtrack, and pure formation magic. This is one of the most iconic aerial teams on the planet, and we can’t wait to welcome them back.
