Pacific Airshow Soars to New Heights

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – October 9, 2026 – The heat wasn’t the only thing that broke records last weekend in Southern California. Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach wrapped its 10th anniversary celebration on Sunday after a history-making event that saw more than 1.5 million spectators flock to Huntington Beach and surrounding coastlines, one of the largest crowds in the event’s history.

With one of the most spectacular performer lineups to-date, Pacific Airshow delivered what organizers are calling the best lineup in show history, featuring the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Navy F-35C, F-22 Raptor, Canadian Forces Snowbirds, Royal Air Force Falcons, NASA aircraft and an elite roster of military and civilian pilots from around the world.

“Last weekend was everything we hoped our 10th anniversary could be and then some,” said Kevin Elliott, Pacific Airshow Director. “Our fans brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to Huntington Beach, embracing the heat and making it truly unforgettable. From an outstanding lineup to a record crowd, the excitement and support from our fans made this the best Pacific Airshow yet. What an incredible way to celebrate 10 years of Pacific Airshow and a testament to the amazing community that has grown around this event.”

The milestone 10th anniversary edition featured more than five hours of aerial performances each day, complemented by interactive experiences, NXTGN STEM activities, luxurious hospitality options and special programming throughout the event.

The weekend also marked the first year that NASA has participated in Pacific Airshow, bringing a formation team of five F-5s, and America 250 branded F-15 and F-18 aircraft. Additionally, spectators got to witness an extra special three-day performance from NASA’s fifteenth Administrator, Jared Isaacman piloting his own MiG-29.

Following the remarkable appearance of Olive Ridley sea turtles along the Huntington Beach coastline, Pacific Airshow worked swiftly to launch a special “Shell Squadron” patch, giving fans a way to celebrate the unexpected visitors while supporting local conservation efforts.

Sales of the limited-edition patches generated much needed funds for the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, helping support efforts to protect and preserve the region’s vital coastal habitat.
