Master of the (Nearly) Impossible
When it comes to precision flying, Luke Czepiela makes the (nearly) impossible look easy. A Red Bull Air Race pilot and Airbus A320 captain, Luke has carved out a reputation as one of the most daring aviators in the world.
He’s landed airplanes where no one thought possible, on wooden piers, under bridges, and most famously, on the tiny 27-meter helipad of Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, perched 212 meters above the ground. No runway, no standard visual cues, just 20.76 meters to stop, and he nailed it.
Luke made Pacific Airshow history in 2024 when he became one of the first pilots ever to land and take off on the sand during Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach itself. In 2025, he’s back for round two, bringing his STOL wizardry, aerobatic skills, and incredible control to Show Center.
When Luke’s in the cockpit, don’t blink.
