Maverick Helicopters returns for year two with helicopter transfers and a brand-new way to see Surf City from above.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California. - Pacific Airshow® Huntington Beach and Maverick Helicopters are back together for 2026, once again providing attendees with the ultimate way to arrive at America’s biggest beachside airshow: by helicopter!

For the second year, Maverick Helicopters will offer aerial transfers direct to Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach, October 2–4.

Guests can ditch the freeway and fly from John Wayne Airport or Long Beach Airport to the heart of the action in less than 10 minutes, with private charter options also available across LA and Orange County.

And this year, there’s a new addition.

In 2026 the Surf City Flyover takes off directly from Pacific Airshow® for an eight-minute flight above Huntington Beach and the Orange County coastline, taking in the Huntington Beach Pier, Newport Beach, Balboa Island, Lido Isle and Corona del Mar.

Airshow Director, Kevin Elliott said this is the kind of on-brand partnership that screams Pacific Airshow.

“At Pacific Airshow our whole persona is about doing things bigger, better and a little differently to everyone else” Elliott said.

“Flying into the show, skipping the traffic and landing right in the middle of the action is a pretty epic way to start your weekend and offers our patrons a really fun and unique addition to their day at the beach. We loved having Maverick Helicopters with us last year and we’re pumped to take it up another level in 2026.”

Maverick Helicopters Vice President of Business Development Ben Villalobos said the team was excited to return to Pacific Airshow for a second year.

Pacific Airshow® Huntington Beach helicopter transfers start from $199 per person, with the new Surf City Flyover from $129 per person.
