GOODYEAR BLIMP BEACH LANDING TO LAUNCH MILESTONE YEAR
Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach turns 10 in 2026, and it is not about to celebrate quietly.
To launch its milestone year, Pacific Airshow is planning to land the iconic Goodyear Blimp directly on the sands of Huntington Beach.
The stunt will mark the official countdown to the 2026 event, bringing one of America’s most recognizable aircraft to the Huntington Beach shoreline as Pacific Airshow prepares to celebrate a major anniversary year.
What began on the sands of Huntington Beach a decade ago has grown into one of the most iconic aviation events in the world. In 2026, Pacific Airshow will mark 10 years of speed and sound with America250 adding even more significance.
Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach is proud to partner with America250, the national, nonpartisan organization charged by Congress to lead the commemoration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The partnership brings added meaning to an event already known for its celebration of aviation, service and national pride. To honor America250, Pacific Airshow will welcome the NASA Freedom 250 F-5 Formation Team, bringing another powerful aviation connection to the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
The 2026 line-up will feature a heavy-hitting mix of crowd favorites, military firepower and elite flying talent, including:

Pacific Airshow CEO Kevin Elliott said, “For 10 years, Pacific Airshow Huntington Beach has earned its place as one of the most anticipated weekends on the America’s calendar,” Elliott said.
“To hit that milestone in the same year America celebrates 250 years gives this one even more weight. There is patriotism in it, there is history in it, but there is also that raw energy this show has become known for.
“This has never been a sit-down-and-clap kind of event. It is loud, it is raw, it shakes the sand, and this year will be our biggest swing yet.”
President & CEO of Visit Huntington Beach, John Urdi said, " Pacific Airshow has been a staple in the Huntington Beach event calendar for 10 years now, drawing visitors from around the world to experience all that our destination has to offer.
Having an event of this caliber is something most destinations dream about, and we are fortunate to have it on our coastline each year. Congratulations to Kevin Elliott and the entire Pacific Airshow crew, we look forward to more great years soaring above the beach."
This October, Pacific Airshow will also introduce a host of new hospitality experiences, including its new Sports Bar.
For those who live for the thrill of the action, whether it is in the skies or on the big screen, the Sports Bar will be a prime vantage point. Featuring a two-storey viewing tower, the beachside hangout will deliver the best of both worlds: epic aerial action above and live Fox Sports coverage on the big screen throughout the day.
