The Royal Air Force C-17 Globemaster III is heading to Huntington Beach with a four-person crew from 99 Squadron at RAF Brize Norton: pilots Seb Coe and Alex Blakely, and Loadmasters Steve Hunt and Dan Bonney.

Celebrating 25 years of flying the C-17, 99 Squadron transports freight worldwide, delivers humanitarian aid, supports aeromedical missions, and operates alongside allied forces.

At up to 585,000 pounds, this aircraft is massive—but it can still land on short, unpaved strips, execute steep tactical descents, and select reverse thrust while airborne.
