NASA F-15

NASA doesn’t only go to space.

The agency’s F-15 research jet is heading for Huntington Beach, bringing serious speed and decades of flight innovation to Show Center.

Based at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center, the F-15 supports high-speed, high-altitude testing for some of America’s most advanced aeronautical programs. Its speed, range and adaptability allow researchers to test experimental systems and collect critical data in environments most aircraft can’t reach.

NASA has flown F-15s since the early 1970s, using them to advance supersonic research and help shape the future of flight.
